Registration Policies

Registration Policies

General Policies

  • All fees referred to on the registration form are in Euro and all payments must be made in Euro.
  • One registration form per person is required. Photocopies of the form are acceptable.
  • After 31 October 2008, you may only register onsite at the conference.
  • Fully paid Connect Members are entitled to discounted registration fees. Connect Members should select the appropriate option when registering for the European conference. Membership status will be verified and appropriate discount will be applied. This discount may not be used in conjunction with any other discount offers.
  • All attendees who register for the conference as a non-member will receive a complimentary Connect membership, which will expire on 31 December 2009. Membership ID and details will be sent to you after the conference.
  • Value Added Tax (VAT) is a country imposed tax that goes directly to the German authorities. The organizations have hired a consultant to assist you with the process of reclaiming the VAT required for this event (by request; any associated fees incurred by working with the consultant are the responsibility of the registrant or registrant's company).
  • No one under the age of 18 will be permitted to attend the Conference or Exhibition.

Cancellations

  • If any circumstances or event beyond the control of Connect causes cancellation of all or any portion of the event, Connect agrees to refund any portion of the registration fee for which Connect is reimbursed by insurance or other third party and shall not be liable for any other refund or payment arising from the cancellation of for other liability or damages arising from the event.
  • Cancellations must be submitted in writing and postmarked on or before 3 October 2008 to the address listed under "Correspondence."
  • Cancellations are subject to the following fees based upon the date the cancellation is received:
    • Cancellations received by 3 October 2008 will receive a 50% refund, less 150 Euro cancellation processing fee.
    • Cancellations received after 3 October 2008 will not be refunded.
  • All refunds are subject to prevailing exchange rates.
  • Refunds will be made following the conference in the same manner as the original payment was received.

Substitutions

  • Substitutions are allowed. All substitution requests must be made in writing.
  • After 31 October 2008, you must bring a letter authorizing the substitution on corporate letterhead to the onsite registration counter at the conference site anytime during the registration hours. The letter should identify the name of the pre-registered delegate and the name of the substitute.
